• TWELVE GYMNASTS MAKE THE NATIONALS

• Twelve Gymnasts Make the Nationals Trampoline and Tumbling Championships Sam Sarmiento 18, Frances Lauten 15, Genn Hatfield 15, Veronica Sancedo, 14, Dallin McComb 13, Hannah Scribner 12, Ila Delmarsh 11, Daniel Newton 10, Grace Gau 10, Will Trautwein 9, Francesca Encell 9, Jem Sarmiento 8 all made this year\'s National Championships and earned the right to compete with the rest of the best in the nation. The Championships took place in San Antonio, Texas July 11-16. These athletes are from Santa Barbara Gymnastics Club in Santa Barbara and train up to 15 hours per week. They are coached by Susan Montgomery, who says, \"These athletes are incredible. They are such dedicated, hard working gymnasts. They are very focused and I think it\'s great that they are being recognized as twelve of the top trampolinist/tumblers for their age group in the country.\" At the National Championships, the athletes will performed on the three competitive events trampoline, tumbling and double mini.
